Accord Healthcare announced the acquisition of Ewing, New Jersey-based Essential Pharmaceuticals. Under the terms of the agreement, along with the Essential company, Accord has acquired the rights to sell Custodiol® HTK Solution (www.custodiol.com) in the United States and Canada. Custodiol® HTK Solution is a leading organ preservation solution indicated for perfusion and flushing of donor kidneys, liver, pancreas and heart prior to and after removal from donor.
